Gopass has introduced a Scottish duo in kilts who will give advice to the Slovaks how to save money.
There are two of them, they wear kilts, have an original Scottish accent and unmistakable Slovak humour. Slovak comedians Sväťo Malachovský and René Štúr as Scottish experts on tourism will be original guides to the ski resorts, hotels and water parks in the TMR portfolio.
A new form of communication added to the existing ones, a new point of view of price advantage as for tourist resorts apart from professional advertising spots. All this with humour and well-known faces. TMR has decided to address the time-tested Slovak comedian duo – René Štúr and Sväťo Malachovský and let them act as James and Son, Scottish experts on tourism.
“We were looking for a way of showing people what’s most advantageous as for prices in resorts and how to make the most of one’s money when staying in Jasná or the High Tatras. And the Scots are portrayed as typical stingy characters in jokes so we thought it would be the ideal concept. If you add the talent and original humour of Sväťo and René, the decision was clear”.
Igor Rattaj, TMR Chairman of the Board.
To be continued… Enjoy!
The comedians will be playing in short sketches in individual resorts and these will, among other things, include crazy recruitment videos of various kinds of jobs in the field of tourism. What’s more, Malachovský and Štúr will be joined by TMR boss Igor Rattaj in some sketches. The sketches will be presented in the social media of individual tourist resorts operated by TMR and the Gopass portal one at a time.
