The Gopass Card is your ticket to a world of experiences across four countries: from mountain resorts and water parks to cable cars, accommodation, and event tickets. Every day we receive many questions from our customers, so we decided to answer the most frequent ones.
When do I need a physical Gopass Card?
You need a physical (plastic) Gopass Card in two cases:
- when skiing – a physical card is required to pass through the turnstile at the resort,
- when claiming benefits – such as ski passes, cable car tickets or water park tickets included in your hotel stay. At the hotel reception, these tickets are loaded onto your Gopass Card, or you will be issued a new one if you don’t already have one.
For all other services, purchases and experiences, your digital Gopass Card ownership in your mobile phone is perfectly sufficient.
From what age do children need a Gopass Card?
Children under the age of 6 enjoy Gopass services free of charge. When skiing, they don’t need a card, as there is a special entry gate for children under 6 years old. But aging 6 and above, each child needs their own Gopass Card:
- a physical card with a loaded ski pass if they are skiing,
- or a digital card in your mobile device if they are, for example, visiting water parks or ZOOKONTAKT.
Where can I get a Gopass Card?
The easiest way is to register at www.gopass.travel. After registration process you automatically receive a digital Gopass Card, which can be used for most services.
If you purchase a ski pass during your first order, which requires a physical card, it will be automatically added to your basket.
You will then receive an email with information about how to collect your card at the resort:
1. at a kiosk by entering the code you received in the email,
2. at the client centre by presenting your purchase confirmation from the email.
How much does the Gopass Card cost?
The issue of a physical Gopass Card involves a one-time fee of €3. Once purchased, the card is automatically linked to your Gopass account if collected from a kiosk.
Alternatively, it can be assigned to you by staff at information centres, hotel receptions, or ticket offices.
The card is personalised, non-transferable and non-refundable – it belongs only to you and is your gateway to the world of Gopass experiences.
How do I get a digital Gopass Card online?
You automatically receive a digital Gopass Card for your mobile when you register for the Gopass programme. After completing registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email with simple instructions on how to save your digital card to your phone.
You can use your digital Gopass Card to identify yourself anywhere – except when passing through turnstiles at ski resorts.
With just a few clicks:
- visit www.gopass.travel,
- register or log in.
After the registration process your digital Gopass Card will be created automatically.
How do I add the Gopass Card to my mobile phone?
The digital version of your Gopass Card is automatically generated after registration and stored directly in your Gopass account. After logging in, you can find it in the My Card / Gopass Cards section, where you can easily add it to your mobile wallet – e.g. Apple Wallet for iOS or Google Wallet for Android.
Where can I find my card number?
You can find your Gopass Card number:
- on the back of your physical card (below the barcode),
- or online, after logging into your account in the My Account / Gopass Cards section.
The digital card has a different number from the physical one, but both serve to identify you and assign products to your account.
My Gopass Card got lost: What should I do?
It happens! If you’ve lost your Gopass Card, please log in to your account on gopass.travel website or in the Gopass app, open the Gopass Cards section, and click I’ve lost my card.
The card will be blocked and rendered invalid, keeping your personal data protected. You can purchase a new card with your next ski pass or buy one directly at resort information desks or hotel receptions.
What if I purchased a product and my card doesn’t work?
This can happen if:
- the card is damaged,
- the purchase didn’t process correctly (for example a failed payment),
- you have multiple cards and used the wrong one at the turnstile.
We recommend visiting the client centre for assistance.
