J Premium Smart Season Pass holders don’t pay for ski passes in the resort. They only need their Gopass cards, which offer various benefits and discounts in the resort.
Accommodation
To enjoy skiing without having to travel too much, the best is to stay near ski pistes. The Alpenhotel Badmeister hotel is located only 600 metres away from the Glacier Express funicular at the altitude of 1,200 metres at the foothills of the High Tauern. It offers free access to the hotel wellness centre with a sauna, a steam bath and an infra-red sauna. All rooms overlook the mountains. Skiing on the glacier
With ski passes purchased online, one can avoid queuing at ticket offices and start with boarding the Gletscher Express funicular, which runs to the Mittelstation interchange station located at the altitude of 2,234 metres. The Eisseebahn cable car continues from there up to stunning glacier views.
There are 17 pistes – 6 easy, 7 medium-difficult and 4 difficult ones. This makes about 17 kilometres of groomed pistes with natural snow in total. And there is a Fun Snowpark and the variety of not difficult and less steep off-piste terrain is wide too. Or how about zipping down some nice gullies? All freeride trails end near nine means of transport, i.e. a 6-seater chairlift, 4-seater and 2-seater chairlifts, two smaller ski lifts and one cable car.
Gastronomy
A giant glassed restaurant overlooking the surrounding mountains is located next to the cable car station building at the altitude of 2,800 metres.
