More family-friendly skiing fun thanks to a slope widening
The Mölltaler Gletscher resort in Carinthia in Austria is preparing for a strong winter season, which should start in October if the weather is good
We want to give the opportunity to ski our Carinthian natural snow paradise not only to good skiers, but also to families. For this reason, we are investing in widening of slope Nr. 9.

Slope Nr. 9 is now being widened by 15 metres and is going to be an attractive family piste. The place where dangerous situations frequently occurred in the past is now cleared and safe.
“The difficulty level of the slope will change from medium to easy and offer the best skiing fun for the whole family in future,” says Gugganig, who is already looking forward to numerous international guests in the coming winter season.
With the application of humus, the greening of the highlands is progressing and the necessary safety measures should also be completed by the beginning of October. The completion of the slope work will be finished in time for the opening of the family piste.
