TATRAS TOWER dominates near the glacial moraine lake called Štrbské pleso, in the centre of a year-round mountain resort. This sophisticated tower is one of the tallest ones in Europe and undoubtedly the highest observation point. The unique construction has the shape of a tilted hyperboloid. A barrier-free path runs to the observation platform with a walk-on net, which is only for the bravest souls 😊. And if you dare to step onto a glass bridge at nearly 50 metres high, you will be rewarded with panoramic views far and wide. In addition, an adrenalin slide that can be used to get down quickly is an attraction popular mainly with children.

Barrier-free access to the lookout tower
The entrance and the path to the top of the tower are fully barrier-free. This makes it ideal for families with children in pushchairs and is suitable also for people in wheelchairs. The path’s inclination ranges from 6% to 8%, making the ascent comfortable for people with limited mobility. Therefore, everyone for whom hiking to mountain peaks is too challenging can enjoy the breathtaking views of the High Tatras from the tower.
