1. Bikepark Innsbruck has trails for the whole family
Let’s start with options for the youngest bikers and absolute beginners. For this category of bikers, there is a pump track below the lower cable car station and it is free of charge.
The blue trail (The Chainless One) is 7.6 km long and the whole family can handle it with a little practice. It is an easier way to get from the upper cable car station to the valley.
The red trail (The First One) is rougher and more technically demanding, but the gradient is not steep. The trail ends halfway down the hill, and you must choose whether to continue along the blue trail or the even rougher black trail.
The black trail (The Straight One) starts at the blue gondola, and the hill is steeper. It is a challenging trail with lots of roots and is used for downhill racing.
The bike park includes many trails of varying difficulty. It is designed so that people can mix and match trails on the way down and develop their skills. Hence, the bike park’s motto: “Choose your line!”
In addition, there are two more trails (The Wild One and The Rough One) on the other hill with the Nockspitzbahn cable car. The Rough One was originally built for the first downhill races in the Crankworx series and is a real challenge! Among bikers, it is said to be the best trail in the bike park. If you don’t feel up to it after a more challenging start, you can hop on at the mid-station and take a cable car back up. The upper half of The Wild One hill is a steeper flow trail with plenty of jumps and rocky sections.
The Nockspitzbahn cable car in Götzens is open only at weekends in July and August, so we recommend visiting during this period.
