Production and philosophy of the Tatry Essentials brand
Tatry Essentials natural body cosmetics are produced exclusively in Slovakia, focusing on quality and sustainability. The products are vegan and not tested on animals. The company behind their production specialises in researching, developing and manufacturing medicinal plant-based products, using the latest technologies to extract valuable substances from plant material in a gentle way.
We grow herbs here beneath Mt Kriváň at an altitude of 900 metres above sea level. Some of them are oriented to the east and others to the west, depending on how much sunlight each plant needs. Some require morning sun, while others benefit from the afternoon light. It’s all part of the technology and alchemy. The herbs are picked by our ladies with love and carefully dried to preserve their quality.”

Slovak natural body cosmetics for everyone
Tatry Essentials offers five product lines, each with its own unique herbal combination:
BOOST
A men’s range infused with pine and cranberry extracts, delivering energy and vitality. It includes a body soufflé, a body scrub, a body lotion, a shower gel, a shampoo and a conditioner.
CARE
A gentle range with lemon balm and chamomile extracts, perfect for sensitive skin. It consists of a body soufflé, a body scrub, a body lotion, a shower gel, a shampoo, a conditioner, a bath bomb and bath salt.
PURE
A children’s range with the soothing power of chamomile and the softness of lemon balm, ideal for delicate young skin. It includes a shower foam, a body lotion, a body soufflé and a bath bomb.
GRACE
A women’s range enriched with revitalising raspberry and mint for everyday skincare. It features a body soufflé, a body scrub, a body lotion, a shower gel, a shampoo and a conditioner.
PROTECT
A men’s range with extracts of wild thyme and lady’s mantle, providing protection and care. It includes a shower gel, a shampoo and a conditioner.
High-quality herbs are the key
The medicinal plants grown at BIOTATRY Východná are processed using a gentle extraction technology that preserves all their valuable active substances. Unlike many products on the market that artificially recreate a “full spectrum” effect, these extracts are obtained through a continuous process from a single plant species. This ensures that well-known active ingredients as well as rare compounds are preserved, creating a balanced and powerful effect. Thanks to innovative technology, the herbal extracts are highly concentrated, meaning that even a small amount delivers noticeable results.

Tatry Essentials natural cosmetics are available exclusively in the following 4-star wellness hotels: Grandhotel Starý Smokovec, Grandhotel Praha, Pošta Hotel, Tri Studničky Hotel and Grand Jasná Hotel.
In addition, the cosmetics can be purchased at wellness centres and hotel receptions, allowing visitors to take a piece of the Tatras home with them.
