Wawel Cathedral and St. Adalbert’s Church in Kraków
“The Tatras do not divide, but unite.” This beautiful message was expressed by late Pope John Paul II. The remarkable figure and the 30th anniversary of his visit to the High Tatras inspired the Tatra Temple of Ice in 2024/2025. The Wawel Cathedral and the Church of St. Adalbert are closely connected with Saint John Paul II, who spent many years here, and Kraków is now regarded as a “pilgrimage site” for him. St. Adalbert’s Church is part of his spiritual legacy.
