The Jasná ski resort can be seen in a new light in the 2024/25 ski season, quite literally!
A new 2,700 m long floodlit piste named Chaletová VRCHOL ZÁBAVY No. 10 and running from Brhliská will make its debut, becoming the longest lit night skiing piste in Central Europe outside the Alps.
The piste will feature modern, energy saving lighting technology successfully tested by TMR in the Ještěd mountain resort. Together with the Biela Púť piste and the Happy End connection, there will be a continuous 4.3 km section of lit pistes for night skiing, serviced by two comfortable cable cars and two sledging lifts.
During night skiing, you can park for free in the car parks P2 Biela Púť and P1 Otupné.
Technical specifications of the new floodlit piste in Jasná
- 81 floodlight poles, each 12 metres high
- 238 floodlights with special shields
- 2,700 metres of lit slope
- 311-metre vertical drop
- accessible with the modern 8-person A3 Grand Jet SUPERJET cable car
Fun doesn’t end with night skiing in Jasná. From Friday to Sunday, the MAXILAND fun arena at Biela Púť will entertain children and also adults. With sledges, bob sleighs, snow glider sledges, great music and the open AUDI Crystal Bar, there’s something for everyone.
The new luxurious AUDI Crystal Bar and the bar at the Pošta Hotel are both well worth a visit. The Crystal Bar boasts Slovakia’s first heated “flaming” table, along with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and a modern atmosphere. The bar at the Pošta Hotel offers an impressive selection of drinks, sure to satisfy connoisseurs and gourmets alike, with a range of beverages that go beyond just fine alcohol.
If you rent your ski equipment from the Tatry Motion rental between 5:30 and 9:00 pm before night skiing, you can return the equipment until 10:00 am the following day!
