Špindlerův Mlýn: Suggested trips
Walking around Mt Zlaté návrší
You can start this hike with the Medvědín chairlift. It can be considered less demanding and manageable also for prams. The trail runs from the upper Medvědín chairlift station along the blue trail to Horní Mísečky, at the first intersection we turn to the red trail (so-called Masaryk road) and continue up to the Vrbatova chalet. Most of the trail is hard-surface.
Along the slope of Mt Stoh
The trip begins at the upper Pláne chairlift station, where we walk along the blue trail to the Na Pláni chalet. From there, we continue along the green trail to the Klínovka chalet and then along the blue marked trail back to Svatý Petr. The trip can also be made in the opposite direction. The Dlouhý Dol valley trail offers panoramic views of the entire area of Špindlerův Mlýn and its surroundings. The route intersects with the steepest ski piste in the Czech Republic – the FIS World Cup piste with an average inclination of 33%.
