In the new Gopass Cashback loyalty programme, which begins on 1st November 2024, you will no longer collect Gopass points but earn goX. GoX consists of goX cashback and goX credit and works as internal Gopass currency that can be used to buy various products and services. This means experiences.
How can you save with goX cashback?
We will refund you between 1.5% and 5% goX cashback on each Gopass purchase, depending on your cashback level. You can then use this cashback to pay for other products and services.
GoX cashback can be earned on every purchase of products via the Gopass website, the Gopass app, in Motion facilities, by purchasing refreshments in selected restaurants or booking holidays via tmrhotels.com or gopass.travel. Your goX can be used at these places too. Your goX cashback will be credited the next day:
- after purchasing a product (season pass, refreshments or goods in Motion facilities*),
- after using a product (ski passes, cable car tickets, water park tickets or event tickets),
- after checking in at a hotel.
GoX cashback has five levels, and you will be placed in a level according to the total value of your Gopass purchases. Every purchase brings you closer to a higher cashback level, and therefore to better savings. You can check your cashback level by logging into your Gopass account.
How much can you save with goX cashback?
Example: You book a holiday worth 1,000€ through Gopass
One day after checking in, we will automatically refund you 5% of the holiday value, i.e. 50€, as goX cashback. But that’s not all. One day after checking out, you’ll earn additional goX cashback based on your cashback level. And not only of the price of your stay but also of services such as massages and drinks. If you are in the GOLD level with 4% goX cashback, you will receive 44€ goX cashback for a 1,100€ total spend (stay and services). This means 94€ goX cashback in total.
If you book your holiday via another booking portal than tmrhotels.com or gopass.travel, you won’t receive any cashback, no matter if you are a Gopass customer or not.
Where can you earn goX cashback?
Brick-and-mortar facilities where goX cashback can be earned and used are marked with the “goX accepted here” sticker. When buying products online, you may see three types of information:
- The amount of goX cashback you’ll earn on your purchase (for products that qualify for goX).
- Notification that no goX cashback can be earned on this product (if goX does not apply to the product).
- Invitation that you can earn goX cashback if you log into Gopass.
The difference between goX cashback and goX credit
GoX credit can be received for cancelling products, refunds from the claims department or purchasing goX credit. If you buy goX credit for someone, they’ll receive an email with a credit code that they can redeem in their Gopass account in the goX wallet section.
GoX cashback can be earned on every purchase using your Gopass card, such as:
- online purchases through the Gopass website or app in selected resorts,
- booking holidays via tmrhotels.com or gopass.travel,
- buying products at cash desks in resorts,
- purchasing refreshments at resorts or goods in Motion shops,
- at ski rentals, ski schools, buying parking and selected events.
What is the goX wallet?
In the digital goX wallet in your Gopass account, you can see your current goX cashback and goX credit balance, transaction history and goX credit purchases.
Offline payments can be enabled through your goX wallet as well.
How does goX payment work?
Your goX can be used to pay in bars and restaurants that accept Gopass and to purchase experiences via gopass.travel or the Gopass app. You can also share it with your family accounts.
If you have both goX credit and goX cashback in your goX wallet, goX credit will be used to pay for purchases first. Once it’s used up, goX cashback will be used next.
Depending on which country you visit, goX can be earned in three currencies: EUR, PLN and CZK. You can only spend goX cashback in the country where that currency is valid. However, we are preparing a feature that will allow you to transfer goX between currencies in your goX wallet, so you can pay with the currency you need.
What is the process for offline payments?
Offline payments can be made in brick-and-mortar facilities in resorts – restaurants, bars, cash desks.
Before paying with goX, you need to enable the offline payment option. This can be done in your Gopass account, under the goX wallet tab. By allowing offline payments, you activate your Gopass card for goX payment for 4 hours. Offline payments are confirmed by entering a PIN code, which can be created after logging into your Gopass account and clicking on the goX wallet tab. The PIN code can be changed in your settings. If you enter a wrong PIN three times, the system will automatically block goX payments for 120 seconds. After this period, you can try again or change your PIN in settings.
Your family accounts can use your goX too if you enable it. Once your payment has been made, we recommend deactivating goX payments.
Online payments
Online payments can be made at gopass.travel or via the Gopass app.
You will need to verify every goX payment during the payment process with your PIN.
