That was exactly what the Gopass Sauna Festival proved in April at TMR resorts: Hotel Grand Jasná, Bešeňová Water Park, Tatralandia and Hotel Lake Garden Tatralandia.

Every day brought new experiences – from fragrant herbal ceremonies to dynamic sauna theatre performances with the energy of a live concert.
Bešeňová came alive with a unique atmosphere during the sauna festival
During the Gopass Sauna Festival, Bešeňová transformed into a place where wellness gained a completely new dimension. Visitors experienced a combination of relaxation, energy and emotion that cannot truly be described in words – it simply has to be experienced.

As Peter Kolenčík, Director of Bešeňová Water Park, says:
We have had this idea in mind for several years. Bešeňová has long focused on wellness events and this was the natural next step.”
And it could be felt everywhere. Every detail – from the programme to the selection of sauna masters – was carefully designed to create a truly memorable experience.
Sauna rituals from around the world in one place
The festival was also exceptional because visitors could “travel the world” without leaving Slovakia.
In one place, they experienced: Japanese precision, Italian energy and temperament, Nordic traditions, Central European sauna culture.
Alberto Grazioli from Italy described it simply:
„In Italy, we use many herbs and essential oils from mountain trees. It is wonderful to bring this tradition here as well.” Every ritual was different. Every one had its own story.
Professional sauna masters appreciated the festival’s high standard
The festival impressed not only regular visitors, but professionals as well.
Sauna master Terézia Votavová from the Czech Republic said:
„The sauna culture here is at a very high level and the sauna masters are truly professional. I also greatly appreciate the attitude of the guests.”
Another sauna master added:
„It is great that I can visit several places within a short time and meet people whom I would otherwise only see at world championships.”
And what did the visitors think? “Far too hot, but beautiful.” “A wonderful idea, it is really cool.” “We love coming back, this truly makes sense.”
Modern sauna culture is about more than just heat
The Gopass Sauna Festival showed that sauna experiences today are no longer only about staying in the heat. They are a combination of: relaxation, show, music, aromas, emotion.
